I think mina and Michael fell out because leaky and coot were making fun of her.

Also my views on home-schooling are good because its cheaper and she would not be distracted.

But she would not get as many friends as you would at school.

I think homeschooling is a good idea because you can have one to one training,and it will be quieter than school. But on the other hand it will cost a lot of money and you might find it hard to make friends and your mum/dad might not no things that your teaches no. I can't wait to read more.

I think Michael  and mina fall out because coot and leaky are being mean to her and then she thinks that's what he's like. My views on home schooling  is that it's better because if your thirsty you don't have to weight until the end of the lesson. And if your stuck you don't have to wait very long because it might be just you or 3or4 people.L.H

Chapter 26-29

Mina and Michael fell out because Leakey and Coot were bulling her so she sarcastically singsonged "thank god I was never sent to school,to be flogd into following the style of a fool"but Leakey and Coot still sniggered which also made Michael very angry. My views on homeschooling are that homeschooling is more personal for the person but you don't have the fun with your friends so I think school is better.(AAM)

Mina and Michal have fallen out because Leakey and Coot were bulling Mina though Michal. by saying "Her that sits in a tree like a crow".

I think that mina and Michael have taken skellig to a tower and are hoping that he will soon be fit to fly (ET)

I think it's sad because it says strait away that the wires and tubes were in her and her hair was fluffy.and the aroma that David has made is so sad.and Michael was getting closer and closer to crying and then in the end he started crying.and he could here the baby's heart beating and tried to imagine that in would not ever stop beating.lily.h

chap 25

i think the baby is slowly but surely getting worse! But the old lady at the word is relay helping Mich to feel better about the hole skellig & baby worry.

But  David Almond makes the atmosphere tense and sad at the start of chapter 25 by saying tears were streaming down miches parents faces and saying the baby was wired up AGAIN!

Mina is so kind to let skellig stay in her old and abandoned house.were they found skelligs wonderful wings , he was in pain overall because he whimpered in pain all the time . they let him beer,a plastic bowl of aspirin and cod liver oil you would of thought skellig would of ate them but no he just rolled over and whimpered with pain.

I think the place where mina and Michael have taken skellig is a tower. They have discover skellig s wings and I think Michael is going to make him better so he can fly.(SL)

In the beginning of chapter 25 David almond makes the atmosphere tense by using short snappy sentences, by not using any speech so we don't know if the baby is going to die or not and how he is listnening through all the noises so he can here his sisters heart.I can't wait to read more.

I think Michael was very worried about taking Skellig to a new place as I am sure Skellig was to, but he trusted them so he went. I also think that Mina was rude to Michael about his work because she is home schooled and she thinks that you learn more outside. Skellig didn't want Mina to take his jacket off because he didn't want to reveal his original secret. (LS)

David Almond makes the atmosphere tense by using short snappy sentences to describe the baby e.g "She didn't move." Michael heard "scared quick breathing" of his parents. He also made the atmosphere sad by describing how ill the baby is "the wires and the tubes were in her again." And the sadness of michaels parents "I heard them sniffing back their tears."

The guy in the garage has been confirmed to be  SKELLIGY. They have been kind to skelligy by giving him medicine,food,and blankets as well as moving him in to a safer place even though there was a  DANGER sign on the door (j.h)

How does David Almond make the atmosphere tense and sad at the start of chapter 25?

I thought mina  was very good at writing poems. And I was surprised that she is so clever and she does home schooling. And I can't wait to read the next couple of sentences and see what Mimas expression is when she sees skelligs face.

I don't get why Mina was in Michele's garden and is she aloud in his garden. Any way i don't really feel like i have really got in to the story. My personal opinion. (j.h)     

Chapter 17

I think it is interesting when Mina dreams about Michael because she combines Michael and Skellig together also I think Michael is going to show Mina Skellig as a surprise. AAM

I thought it was funny how Mina was so interested in the owl hooting noise and I think its thoughtful of Michael to give Skellig the food but Skellig is also quite greedy with what he has.I also think Michael is very concerned about his sister in hospital and he needs someone to talk to like Mina.

I thought that the chat between Mina and Michael was funny because they weren't arguing but where having small scale arguments

I thought the way that skellig know 27 and 54 was cool, and when Michael said " I'm going to bring someone, she's called Mina."

I thought it was surprising when Mina said " I don't go to school my mum teaches me."

I think that  Michael's dad is so busy trying to get the house in order that he doesn't have much time for Michael. Mina is very against school she thinks that, at the end of the day it makes you feel depressed. Both Michael and Mina are very interested in the bone structure of animals.(LS)

chapter 15
i think it would have been a huge shock for Micheal to hear from Mina that her father died before she was born and that Mina's mum educates her.
Micheal wants to take Mina to she skellig is that a good idea what does skellig think of this.
chapter 16
Micheal was brave to take another 27 and 53 to skellig and to argue about Mina if she could come and see skellig , Micheal  said "she will know how to help you."
skellig laughed but didn't smile
Micheal asked the "baby's in hospital will you think of  her getting  better."
skellig  replied "yes i will !"
the owls were fly out side of the Attic and Micheal made the owl sound with his hands and something replied.
chapter 17
Micheal found Mina and they listened so quietly that they heard baby blackbirds sing .Mina was drawing a bird skeleton they said there bones are almost halo but there not.Micheal had a dream about Mina  that she looked just like skellig .
Micheal said that Mina could see skellig in the afternoon.

Chapter 15&16

I didn't understand why Michael shivered at breakfast. And I didn't under stand when skelligs said I used to watch him phone the curry shop and asked can I have 27and53 and after he would never finish it so then skelligs said so i picked it out of the bin  and ate it but the other thing he didn't drink  was ginger rum. So I was surprised why earnie didn't see skelligs when skelligs was looking through the same window but on the other side.

I am not surprised that Mina is homeschooled because she is often waiting near Michaels house. I wonder If Michael and Mina are going to use owl hoots as their secret communication system. I also wonder how Michael will get the brown ale (will he have to steal?) AAM

Michael's lucky to get to stay of school and I wonder if the shoulder blades thing is true also how is Michael  going to get hid dad to buy brown ale.

I am surprised Mina  does home schooling!

Mina is very weird and in her own dreamy world and she sort of reminds me of luner lovegood in harry potter :D

I also think the bond between Mina and Mich is growing and they are becoming better friends.

maybe skellig is Ernies son?

I enjoyed Mina and Michaels chat about apes but she seems like a bit of a clever clog.Quite disappointed that mina didn't go and see skellig.I am quite exited about Michael making an owl sound so the owls come out. i have had a sneaky peak of the next chapter and Michael goes into the garage with the food of the gods (27&53) (SL)

chapter 15

i thought that mina was at school but she was actually home schooled . and i liked the way she spoke about the blackbird dropping worms from its mouth to it younglings and i thought that baby was going to die :(   (o.g)

Doctor death came round to their house and says that the baby should go to hospital
michael`s mum starts getting upset and regrets moving house
michael meets up with mina and she shows him a room with lots of birds

I think that when michael`s mum starts talking about how we might have used to be angels with wings I start to think about the guy in the garage and his shoulder blades

Skellig Chapters 12-13
Michael has arrived home and doctor death is at there home.Mum is upset and angry with the new house because the baby is getting ill.The baby is back in hospital.Michael is outside with Mina.They have ventured in a abandoned house and have found birds.

I think Micheal is feeling a mixed feelings about the baby, he is feeling sad and exclued. His mum is very stressed and worried about the baby. Michael hes so many questions that he wants to ask but can't. (LS)

I think Michael is asking about shoulder blades because he is trying to understand what Skellig has on his back. (AAM)

I found it sad how the baby had to go back to hospital. still nothing on Skellig AGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!. not so keen on the adventure because if i am honest i can't tell the difference between owls.On chapter 14 there was loads of stuff on Micheal gardening which wasn't terribly exiting, but Micheal is getting 27&53 so fingers crossed there will be something on Skellig.

chap 10

i think the relationship between Michael and skellig is starting to grow and increase but skellig is still a bit shaky on weather he should let Mich onto his Territory.

I think Arthur means he has arthritis (disease)

skellig chapters 10-11

I like how he has a dream in latin and falls asleep.he has a dream about a one eyed monster and the people escape pretending to be sheep.He keeps on mentioning the Chinese order numbers.The person in the garage is not Ernie Myers the old owner of the house.

chapter 11 was about Michael at school in Latin he fell a sleep  and was dreaming about the one eye monster and how the people escape by pretending to be sheep (o.g)

chapter 10-11

chapter 11 did not excite me as much as chapter 10 did as it did not have anything on skellig. but after reading chapter 11 i realised that the thing on skelligs back where wings as it says in the last sentence "you could swear he could fly". (SL)

I don't get it when he said most of me is Arthur ? and I still don't get why he kept saying 27 53 ?  still  don't no all the bits of the story it is really annoying me. (J.H)

chapter 10 was exciting because skellig reviled his name and his name was called Arthur (o.g)

I am surprised that Michael is so kind and thoughtful when the person in the garage is so rude and seems so ungrateful when he is given the food. I wonder why Michael felt the persons back. (AAM)

Chapter 10-11

I now know that the man in the garage is not ernie who used to live in the house. I think it's funny how the next morning Michaels dad can't find the aspirin and then he runs off to catch the bus. I also think that the thing on his back was angel wings which links up to the PowerPoint one of us did.(SL)

I thought he was very daring to go in the garage with the aspirin and 27 and 53. He was very courageous to go in their at all. I think the lumps on Skelligs back were angel wings.(LS)

I thought that the man was trying to forget the man in the garage. I thought that the teacher was scared of monkeys. (HH)

I thought that the first chapter was a grate speech, It was a bit boring the first page. (HH)

I thought the two chapters were a bit awkward when Michael felt behind skelligs  back and felt something else. I was surprised that he liked the 23 and 57 so much. I can't wait to read the next few chapters it is going to be great.

I think Michael is quite relaxed when he is around the guy in the garage I think the atmosphere in chapters 10-11 is very chilled out and the guy in the garage is kind of like golum from the hobbit
